Reviewing The Topic Of Breast Cancer - 987 Words
The purpose of this proposal is to request approval to continue researching the topic of Breast Cancer. In this introduction, it will include a problem about the topic and a valid solution in who to solve it. It also discusses the research and research methods put into this technical report, personal qualifications, work schedule, and lastly a table in which lists a time schedule in which this report will be completed. Introduction Breast cancer has a significant amount of impact on the women, men, and families it effects.Breast cancer is only made of topic one month a year, that month is October. Although during this time breast cancer is talked about, many do not know what it actually is nor do people know the damage breast cancer can have on the body, or what the body goes through. By addressing the problem of awareness and education society needs on breast cancer, I will be able to give great information and detailed research to those who seek and are not knowledgeable about breast cancer. Statement of Problem ââ¬Å"Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that starts in the cells of the breast. A malignant tumor is a group of cancer cells that can grow into (invade) surrounding tissues or spread (metastasize) to distant areas of the body (American Cancer Society). Through this ââ¬Å"About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetimeâ⬠(breastcancer.org).
